Each archive contains the following three versions of HanDeDict:
- handedict.u8 contains 147261 entries, 177820 definitions, 579 examples in traditional and simplified Chinese (encoding: UTF-8)
- handedict.b5 contains 143327 entries, 172844 definitions, 510 examples in traditional Chinese (encoding: Big5)
- handedict.gb contains 142394 entries, 171714 definitions, 520 examples in simplified Chinese (encoding: GB2312)

They contain 147247 entries, 177804 definitions and 576 examples each, in simplified (chdw_jt-20100728.dic.dz) or traditional Chinese (chdw_ft-20100728.dic.dz).
